Musical Services of Praise

On Sunday, January 29th we will be dedicating both of our worship services as all musical “Services Of Praise”.  The 9am service will feature the Chancel Choir, Adult Bell group and Brass Ensemble directed by Kathy Newell.  The service will include congregational singing along with Mike Anders accompanied by Eleanor McCoy.

The 11 am service will feature special guests, YFC’s “Children Of The Light”. The group consists of 19 youth in grades 9-12 from Findlay, Ohio and the surrounding areas.  The group will present their ministry through music, testimonies and drama.  A love offering will be taken during the concert.

 

Please welcome Rev. Mark and Kathy Hollinger

Rev. Mark Hollinger begins as Senior Pastor of St. Marks United Methodist Church today, July 1, 2011.  Mark and his wife Kathy were born in Lima and Graduated from Lima Senior H.S.  Rev. Mark also received a Pharmacy Degree from Ohio Northern University.  In 1997 He felt a strong call to be in Ministry.  Rev. Mark served at the Pandora and Riley Creek United Methodist Churches for nine years.

Kathy is a graduate of Kent State and is a self employed interior decorative artist.  She is also a partner in a greeting card company.

Rev. Mark is active in many areas of ministry.  He has been on 10 mission trips.  He has organized and counselled youth camps and has served on several Emmaus and Chrysalis teams.  Please welcome Rev. Mark and Kathy Hollinger to our community.
